Every day I weed out a couple handfuls of repetitive treats and give or throw them away. Over the next couple of weeks the pile grows smaller and smaller until it migrates to the pantry, and after about a week more I can get rid of whatever's left. Then I go through the same process with holiday treats. The Valentine treats. And this whole time, not one piece of that dastardly stuff is touching my lips. Nuh uh. Not me. Nope. Ouch! I've been struck by lightning! Ouch!! Okay, okay -- maybe I eat a little... Luckily my kids haven’t ever noticed the gradual shrinking of the candy pile.
