Lately, I’ve been spending my spare time judging the famous couples at award shows and on Twitter. You know, because I have spare time. not Also, I know these people personally from reading Perez Hilton & TMZ. not
Katy Perry & Russell Brand
She’s kitschy. He’s dirty. Together, I love them. They got together because he professed his love for her on the MTV VMAs last year. I mean, c’mon. That’s super sweet.
She seems to have grounded him from the hookers his playboy lifestyle. They’re moving into wedding blissdom a little too quickly for my taste, but they haven’t yet picked up my voicemail to listen to my opinion.
Pink & Carey Hart
She’s awesomely creatively talented. He’s getting-a-divorce-worthingly cute.
They got married. They broke up. They broke my heart. They got back together. They make me smile, especially from watching them twitter back and forth. They totally looove one another. I looove them together.
Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban
He’s adorable. She’s plasticized.
I’m not a country fan, but I’ve always liked him. I liked her for AGES, especially after the Big D from Tom. But since she’s gone and wrecked her face with at least 5 pounds of silicone, I just feel sorry for Keith.
Beyoncé & Jay-Z
Who doesn’t love Beyoncé? She’s talented, beautiful, and super duper sweet in my head. Jay-Z is talented, handsome, and super duper… something.
Just something about them together that I love. Though, they are losing major points with me because they don’t talk about one another. It’s like they have a phantom marriage to phantom people, only EVERYONE IN THE DAMN WORLD knows they’re married. It’s just weird. 
Celine Dion & René Angélil

OMG! I think the Celine and Rene thing is so GROSS. He knew her when she was like, what? 10? Ewwwww. And I heart Beyonce and Jay-Z, but I too am troubled by why they never talk about each other. You know who else I think is gross? Catherene (I am really 10 years older than I say I am) Zeta-Jones and Micheal Douglas. Just…yuck.
My favorite couples:
1.) Amy Pohler and Will Arnett-because DAMN they are funny and good looking
2.) Ben Afleck and Jennifer Garner-because I think she is so likeable and he seems to finally have his shit together

The thing that I just saw last night on the Grammys that kind of bugs me, Russel Brand & Katy Perry. I knew they were a couple, but the way he was ALL ON HER during the show, just seemed like he was “claiming his turf”. It didn’t look like love to me, but more like he wanted everyone to know she belonged to him. Just eww.

The Beyonce and Jay Z phantom marriage thing is pretty weird. 60 Minutes showed an interview just before the Grammys. She got crazy eyes when they asked about the man she would only refer to as “my husband” and only a couple of times. Weird.
Ditto on the Celine and her dad thing. Just eeew.
I really like Pink and Carey are great together and I would have never put them together….who knew! I really do think Celine and Rene are in love and I wish they would have another child (I know they had been trying or read they had been and I think there was a miscarriage? )That is heart breaking…I don’t care even if you don’t approve of the age difference it is still hard for any woman.
I wasn’t going to comment, because I am like “celebrity couples? I don’t give a rats arse!”
