And we've been parenting for nearly 13 years. Our youngest did sleep in, thus allowing us to also (until 7:00) but then napped from 6-11 p.m. I thought he was down for the night. He wasn't. On SAturyda night I actually turned the tv to nickelodeon, poured bowls of dry cereal and set out cups (for water from the fridge) so when mine woke up at the butt crack of dawn I could just tell them to go turn on the tv and eat their cereal. I knew I wouldn't be able to go back to SLEEP sleep, but at least I got to lay there trying for awhile longer.
