Holding my babies tighter

Semi-Wordless

This is a year-old picture of my girls, but it always makes me smile, so I hope it does the same for you.

I’ll be holding my babies a little bit longer and a little bit tighter today after learning about Maddie Spohr.

My heart goes out to their family. I do not know them personally, but many of my friends do. Her story is both heart-breaking and touching. Please consider donating to the March of Dimes to help sick babies and their families.

This is one of those times when I wish we all lived near each other so we could all just sit in a room and cry, surrounded by people who understand.

Give those girls another hug for me.

Hold them close to your heart. That love will see you through anything, even the darkest pain. I promise.

  16. I don’t personally know the Spohrs, either, but its nearly impossible to be part of this webby world and NOT be affected by their loss. I know I hugged my kids tighter and had more patience with them this weekend. Reading of a second baby passing today makes my heart sad, yet I know I’m very blessed.

I didn’t link in on your above Linky cuz I didn’t technically change my blog purple…but I added the button and a little purple ribbon to my header.
