The examples of my laziness are infinite.
Truly. They’ll go on for.ev.er.
**I still haven’t fully unpacked from BlogHer. I’ve been home 10 days and my suitcase is still in the living room. It’s becoming it’s own focal point of the room. I think it adds a sense of worldly adventure.
**My girls have a talking USA states puzzle. They played with it in Claire’s bed this weekend (and really, what better place to play with a 45-piece* puzzle than in a bed?) and brought the puzzle out to the living room. The puzzle is now missing at least 4 states (I’m sure I’ll find them when I wash her sheets next month-ish week), so the puzzle is now talking to us. Every time the clouds move, it tells us a state and its capital. Every time the dog walks by, we hear, “Nebraska; capital, Lincoln.” Turn a light out, and you can hear, “Florida; capital, Tallahassee.” I’m now thinking of leaving it here in the living room as an educational center. The girls will learn their capitals one state and one shadow at a time.
**The massive stack of business cards collected from BlogHer are still sitting on the floor next to me. I’m waiting for my magical assistant fairy to be made to help me.
**I haven’t washed my hair in 4 days. Maybe 5.
**I MAY re-post this for Aiming Low.

*I realize there are 50 states, but luckily, those smartypants puzzle makers mash up those semi-important New England states so Rhode Island and Vermont don’t end up in the business-end of a diaper.

Dude. I unpacked my suitcase but apparently it wore me out so badly it’s still sitting EMPTY on my bedroom floor. I get points for it being empty, right?

i have an empty one on my bedroom floor, so yes, major points.
The only reason why I am totally unpacked now is because I have to start packing for my next trip and it takes me forever to pack especially since I am going to an entirely different country.
I procrastinate on the most random things … the small things … like my drawer stuffed with mail and receipts I need to go through. Ugh. Maybe I will get to those after I get home from my next trip.
i have STACKS of receipts and junk mail. i hear ya.
I’m envious about yer new writing palace. I should totally strive to get on there. But that’d take some work. So, yeah. I’ll just read aboot it. Congrats on the multi-addresses!

see. i aim low and i exceeded your expectations.
Did I ever tell you about the trip we took with NO luggage and didn’t buy anybody clothes until we got to L.A. 3 days later? Best trip ever.If you have Visa card and a toothbrush no packing required.

so, you wore the same clothes for 3 days? that is aiming low.
My suitcase is still unpacked and sitting on our bedroom floor. We just moved it from the family room floor to our bedroom floor. Progress…
Business cards are in the orange Bounce gift bag we got on our table, also waiting on a magical fairy.
I haven’t washed my hair in 4 days either. Unless you count the fact that it got wet each morning this week when I took a shower. It’s like semi-washed.

you’re my sister from another mister.
I was forced to unpack because we went out of town again and am really setting the bar high because NOW- I’m doing laundry (that will stay in the dryer until they need to be worn)- but only because our clothes smell like actual cow shit and fresh air- thank God I’m home and have a tv!
.-= tena´s last blog ..Gone Fishing- seriously. =-.
welcome home from the cow shit!
HAH. I totally have my suitcase in the guest room. It’s unpacked (cept for the shoes in it still) but my makeup bag, my jewelry bag, and my pink bag remains on my dresser, still all packed. And my swag is in a pile in our guest room next to the suitcase & wedding stuff.
so do not fear, i am just as lazy

you’re so lucky for having a guest room to stash your mess.
I switched purses (okay, 5 times) in the past 6 weeks. Each discarded purse is laying somewhere in the house, with receipts, change, pens, and who knows what else (probably an unpaid bill or two) still in it.
The groceries from last week? All non perishables are still on the table. Why put them away? We’re eventually gonna eat them!!!
As for changing sheets… I don’t like to talk about that.

i find old purses w/ all sorts of weird things left in them: granola bars, empty lipstick, lollipop sticks (sans candy)…
Ha! I came back from vacation a week ago and my suitcase is sitting in the middle of my bedroom floor. My husband has tripped over it in the dark several times, each time spewing obscenities, and I still haven’t moved it.
It’s too much work…
