It’s pretty much a given that I’ll give someone the benefit of the doubt.
I’m forgiving like that.
I tend to think of the best in people: there was a mistake, they meant well, some random coincidunk happened.
My first thought is that the person did not mean any malice by what was done.
I’m a happy optimist.
But I’m discovering in my daily affirmations and reflections, I can by cynical and negative.
My special brand of funny is to be a dummy cynical and somewhat negative.
I look back at my silly tweets and blog posts and see a negative person.
Except, I’m not.
At least I thought I wasn’t.
Negativity begets negativity. Positivity begets positivity.
Kind of like a living 69.
What you give is what you get.
Karma and energy are one big reciprocating hand job.
I feel that I need to put out to the universe a more positive, cynical-ish hand job.
I just don’t want anything to end up in my eye unless it will make you laugh.

And after my week, I think good karma is exactly what I need.
But I know what you mean…sometimes I sound so negative and that’s just….not me…really, I am a positive person. Cynical is funny. I think you are funny!

I don’t know that I’d agree you’re negative – usually with I think of “angie” I think of “ray of sunshine” or “laughing machine” or “crazy twitter lady who’s always poking fun at something” – but not in a bad way!

Although I’m not sure that is how I want to wrap up my night with General Tso.
And as with all fortune cookies, you have to end the statement with “in bed”. So the fortune cookie version would read…”Karma and energy are one big reciprocating hand job in bed.” I like it!

I always thought that 69 was what I agreed to do with my husband after drinking brown liquor. After reading this, I think of it as a positive and uplifting life experience. Kind of like the feeling I get after we go to church. He will be so pumped to hear my new outlook on things (but I still refuse to to let him lick my backdoor, that’s just going too far).
