Yet Again, More Smut Book Recommendations PLUS Revealing My Favorite Character

I’m like, a pusher of erotica, giving you a taste of the good stuff then getting you hooked.

Because there is never enough book smut to satiate us all, I’ve been on a non-stop juggernaut of erotica reading.

I don’t know how much more my fluttering heart can take, but I will tell you that Patrick is just about over my *ahem* appetite.

Since the last installment of the Kindle of Ill Repute (i.e. my book recommendations if you like Fifty Shades of Grey or even better written smut), I started reading The Black Dagger Brotherhood series. TEN books and FOUR weeks later, I finished the series and still want more. The author, JR Ward, released the next book’s cover and title (Lover at Last) that will be released next year and centers around a gay vampire love affair.

Is there anything more perfect over which me to yearn? NO. Gay vampire erotica? I’ll be there with my pompoms and megaphone to cheer those lovebirds on.

I know vampire books aren’t for everyone, Twlight books notwithstanding. But if you like a series, you like some hardcore lovin’, and you don’t mind weird-ass names, try out Dark Lover. But enough about vampires because…

I want you to know about my favorite character in a smut book: Brian Sinclair.

OH MY HEAVENLY DAYS, I love me some Brian Sinclair. Thanks to Brittany for turning me on *giggle* to Backstage Pass and Rock Hard. The first book centers around Brian and his old-lady-name love, Myrna, and the second is about whinypants Sedric Lionheart (really) and his not-a-stripper/law student/ex-girlfriend, Jessica.

If you take anything away from reading my drivel, buy Backstage Pass. And when you read it and get to about the 81% mark (by reading on theKindle, I don’t know page numbers anymore), stop and write me your “Thank You” note.

JEEZ OH PETE, that scene is bookmarked, highlighted, and forever emblazoned into my lady brain.

After finishing the two Sinners on Tour books, I needed to wash away the extra dirty so I started reading Gabriel’s Rapture, the follow-up to Sylvain Reynard’s, Gabriel’s Inferno. In my first Kindle of Ill Repute installment, I rated Gabriel’s Inferno a 4/5 on my not-so-scientific scale. Just like GI, Gabriel’s Rapture is brainy and romantic with not-so-much of the dirty. There’s more to the plot line than most other smut, so if you’re into R-rated reads, try these two books.

Let me tell you something, smut friends. This whole Marathon of Smut Reading I’ve been on lately is paying off because publishers and authors are sending me books to read (see: Gabriel’s Rapture). I’m thinking it’s because I take credit for sending some of the books I recommend to the NYT Bestsellers list.
