Dear Sweet Sweet Baby Jeebus and Mother Oprah,
I thank you for workplace policies you’ve put into place at Patrick’s place of work where he is able to leave his cubicle early and care for me and our children.
And thank you for the children who tell me, “Feel better, Mama,” as they leave for school with these flowers left behind for me.
