Very cool tree. There’s something about trees with no foliage that just fits into my brain. I don’t know about up by you, but here in Miami we have two types of trees that do that *not* dead. Frangipani and Desert Rose. Both have no leaves until right before they flower. The branch structures are just incredible to look at on their own.

I seriously spend about half my life trying to get perfect shots of trees and birds … hence my hubby’s nickname for me of ‘bird brain’ LOL.

the only place I’ve ever seen those cranes is over at UCF, near the baseball field.
