Although I am a vegetarian, I am still entertained by this. And make mock sloppy joes, y’know with fake meat … but nothing too meat-like cuz then I get creeped out.

And wait, seriously? Your kids don’t do sloppy joes? O_O What in the world is wrong with them?! That’s a kids’ favorite! See, they should learn from those micro-meals. haha

you COULD do the soy crumbles. i used to use them in spaghetti sauce.

and yes, there is something wrong w/ them for not eating sloppy joes.

Hey, I am a veggie head and I could totally make this, just swap the beef with a bag of frozen crumbles… well, that is IF I wanted to cook. But wait, really, it is just ketchup and garlic? I have only made these with that can of sauce. And mayo? No way. I learn just as much here as on PW. 🙂

But where is the brown sugar? And the little squirt of mustard? You NEED the brown sugar and mustard!

Also, mayo? Hmm. I might have to try that.

I’ve tried very hard to like Sloppy Joe’s. I really have. I feel like I would like them if I used your recipe. My mom’s recipe is sick as hell.

And soy crumbles. Dead cow is pfffffblth.

Wait! Ketchup, mayo, garlic? I just brown the beef and open up a can of Manwich. Dump that bad boy in. Stir and heat up. Then my kids pick out the “red stuff” as they call it.

Did you use that whole jar of garlic?
