If you’re a regular reader of mine (and who isn’t?), you know I have lovely lady lumps.
Not the Fergie kind, the real kind.
Voluptuous. Curvy. Plus-size. Lumpy.
Whatever words you use for it, I gotta get my clothes from the Big Girl Stores. If I’m not in the Big Girl Stores, I make my fat-ass way over to the “Women’s” section of the stores. Most places have them, but most don’t stock them well unless you favor knit leggins, thin cap-sleeve shirts, and denim vests.
Ladies with lovely lady lumps (LLLs) such as myself will admit to having a hard time finding clothes to fit our frame. And when I say “our frame” I mean 23.8 million different frames. Us fatties have all of our LLLs in different places.
For me, my “problem areas” cover about 90% of me. I do rock some great hair and my fingernails are TO DIE FOR.
To cover my most problematic of areas, I prefer a swing shirt or an empire-waisted top and straight-leg or wide-leg pants.
Examples I found at Sears:
(Note to Sears: I know of NO Plus-Size ladies who tuck in their shirts. NONE. Just for future reference.)
Sharagano Studio Women’s Plus Stripe Novelty Pant
*cough*cough* pssst… They’re only $8.99.
Hooray for Pay Day!
To be honest, I haven’t shopped for my LLL clothes at Sears lately because, let’s be real… The IRS needs their money and Mama is short on it.
But for under $20 for an entire outfit, this lovely lady will be shopping on Pay Day! Sears is has discounted 75-80% OFF original prices on fall and winter apparel. FOR SERIOUS.
If you have LLLs yourself, where do you find your best deals on clothes?
If you’re a skinny-minny (meaning under size 14), what’s your favorite clothing store with the best discounts?
