You have warning signs that both are coming but neither is avoidable.

Wailing on the bathroom floor is a sign of its process.

You hang out by the toilet.

Sucking on ice chips makes you feel better.

Unexpected bad things come out of your body.

You look dazed and confused for at least 24 hours after it’s over (see photo).

If you’re lucky, your mom will be there to take care of you.

People sympathize with you and do NOT want to be you.

You discover muscles you didn’t even know you had in places they shouldn’t hurt.

Passing gas, and only gas, is a sign of recovery.

…and such has been my life for the last 24 hours, minus the baby-exiting-my-bagina part.

Bristol Palin, single mom daughter to (probable) GOP Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, has written a book in which she describes the night when she became pregnant with her son, Tripp. According to Bristol, a teenager at the time, had been drinking with her friends, and her boyfriend at the time, Levi Johnston “stole” her virginity.

As a mom, a woman, and a former teenager with boyfriends, I know that anything that happened to me when I was drinking was my own uninhibited choice. I don’t and didn’t have the right to blame someone for taking anything from me, including my virginity. Bristol clarified in an interview Monday with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America that she isn’t saying that Levi “raped” her, but she is accusing him of “stealing” her virginity.

To me, that’s saying that she had no choice in allowing him to have sex with her, just like you don’t give a burglar the right to enter your home.

Is this Bristol (and most likely her publicist and book publisher) using semantics to dance around the fact that she blames Levi for her bad choice in having unprotected sex that lead to a pregnancy?

This is what it looks like to me: Bristol is blaming her boyfriend for getting her pregnant while she was drunk.

She herself is saying he didn’t rape her. She’s not accusing Levi of rape. But is she taking any responsibility for the choices she made while she was under the influence? No.

I’ve never been raped. I’ve never been molested. I’ve never been taken advantage of to the point that I blame anyone other than myself.

I’ve been drunk. When I was younger, I would drink to the point of releasing my inhibitions. I do know that some of the boys and men I was around would try to take advantage of my inebriated state. I would never, ever accuse any of these men of “stealing” anything sexually from me, including my virginity, because of my drunken state..

I wonder if Bristol Palin is now changing her employment focus from an abstinence spokesperson to a spokesperson for an underage drinking awareness organization.

I have a brother I’ve never met in person.

I’ve talked to him endlessly for the past umpteen months online. He’s made me happy, brought me solace, made me feel better, frustrated me to no end, and I have hoped for nothing more than happiness for him.

And now, he’s he happiest I’ve ever seen heard read him.

Martin knocked up his wife.

Spencer made it!

Apparently he had dirty man goo, so after a wash by the doc, and a squirt up the hoo-ha, ET’s egg(s) finally gave in and accepted Spencer the Sperm (and his buddy?).

I’ve never wanted to hug you, but now, I could totally.

Now, go kiss ET’s belly and **shivvvver** off that sister hug.
