My current obsession is Reece’s Rainbow (www.reecesrainbow.org), which is a website of adorable little babies with various special needs who need families. My mother keeps asking me what I want for Christmas and I keep telling her that I want a baby! She’s not amused. Nor is she heeding my requests to adopt. Silly lady. I offered to get HER a baby for the holidays but she sort of freaked out and was like “NO PROCREATING YET!” But seriously, these kids are adorable and I like to send their photos to her in an attempt to get her to go “awwww, ok lets adopt.” cuz really? the lady has four kids. what’s another one?
Also good obsessions? This pasta thing my friend has that cooks pasta in the microwave. which is only useful if you live in a dorm like I do and have no access to a kitchen.
Also, brownies, babies, grilled cheese, and super cool alarm clocks are all great options. Or 30 rock. I obsess over that.
Listen, you’re gonna have to alienate certain food groups and whatnot if you are going to properly obsess. As long as you feel guilty though, I think it’s acceptable.
