This? Is not OK: Camo Formal Edition

in Pictures,This? Is Not OK

It takes something pretty shocking to make my jaw drop. When you’ve been around the internets as much as I have, you’ve seen it all. So seeing something new and shocking is a day-maker.

My hot n’ sexy internet girlfriend, Jenny Grace, sent me a link to may be one of the most shocking sites I’ve seen in months, and that’s saying a lot. Plus the fact that this is totally safe for work, and it’s still THAT shocking? That, my friendlies, is very hard to find.

Triply awesome is that I grew up in a town where Mullet (the fish) is celebrated in an annual festival where Billy Ray Cyrus got his start, Natural Light is a food group, and hearing the hunting dogs howling in the woods is a normal Friday night, and I’ve NEVER seen this.

I present to you…

Formal Camowear.

The Sweetheart Redneck Prom Dress, butt bow optional $475

The Slutty Mermaid Wedding Dress, complete with camo-lined veil $360

Mother's Best $205

Ballerina Camo - for when you want to curtsy & hunt $299

Formal camo isn't just for the ladies, and this gentle man is even accessorizing appropriately. $109

Lest the flower girls be left out, camo comes in mini sizes. $149

The happy camo couple, because of course. $485 (dress)

The one you've been waiting for, the Pageant Camo. $youdontwanttoknow

Now I’m wondering if they have a plus-size department, because I need a dress for Brittany’s wedding.

The worst part is that I actually clicked on a link from someone I follow who was gushing about OMG I NEED THIS DRESS in a nonsarcastic way (that’s why I had to send you DM)

I have a love of camo, but this has gone too far. Jeebus help us all, my eyes are bleeding.

They are apparently based out of Pineville, LA…..not surprised in the least. We lived in a tiny LA town for 2 yrs thanks to the military and good lord, the amount of Real Tree print I saw on a daily basis was ridiculous.

Holy. Crap. I’m from podunk Georgia and know people with camo weddings and nurseries and have NEVER seen anything like that. We should totally wear one of these in Vegas.

i can’t believe i got married barefoot and in my pajamas when i could have sewn a few of these dresses together. with feathers. that would have been nifty.

So…can we still be friends if I tell you that the groomsmen at my wedding had camo vests. It was my husbands ONLY request for our wedding and he let me have everything else just the way I wanted. I promise we all looked very pretty, plus it was fall, and my bridesmaids wore lovely deep red dresses….

Am I fired?

I think the vests are absolutely acceptable. A friend of mine had the same request from her soon to be husband, along with a camo grooms cake. LOL

Aww I used to LOVE the Mullet Festival! I was always filthy dirty by the time I left. But these dresses are beyond fabulous! And the models are SO serious about it.

*blink* I am honestly astounded. But I think it’s more because of the camo pattern. Like I keep wanting to see it in military camo because that just looks like a couch I had in the early 90s

You know world, you can make fun of Jersey all you want, but at least we didn’t come up with this idea.

We really do appreciate you helping us spread the word! We launched this website only a couple of years ago and the results have been amazing. While all of those that comment here are not camo fans, there are thousands, if not millions of people throughout the US and Canada that are. You may have helped a few more find us. Thanks!
