DS is ALMOST taller but for sure weighs more by about 8 pounds. We get asked the TWIN question ALL the time! Once we were at a high school football game and were asked 4 different times! I can understand it now - there is still a size difference, and they look nothing alike, but I would get the are they twins when they were 1 yr old, and 2 months old. So I would have a 25 pound walking 1 yr old, and then a 12 pound, 2 month old sleeping in an infant carseat and then came the dumb question... are they twins. WTH??? LOL. I'm the oldest of 3 girls. The middle one and I are 18 months apart and for YEARS we were asked if we were twins! We were noticably different and honestly, I haven't a clue why people would ask. Now on the other hand, I have twins, they just turned 4 today, boy/girl and for the last couple of years, people ask how old one is, and then the other. I am short, she is tall. I am light skinned, she is way more tan. I have curly hair hers is straight. I am loud, she is quiet. I have big boobs, she has little ones. (I had to say that) I love to communicate, she operates on a need to know basis. My Mama's life was definitely not boring. We made her laugh a lot and stress a lot. At least your girls LOOK alike...my two oldest boys are as different as day and night (one is blonde and the other brunette) and literally every time I go out with them people ask me if they are twins...nope ~ there are 20 blessed months between them. But they *are* the same size...my oldest son is small (think 10th-15th percentile) and my second son is big (75th percentile)...and my third son is an infant, so I also get the raised eyebrows and knowing smiles followed by "I see you are busy." Talk about an understatement! I look forward to reading your blog :o) LOL!
