Here’s the old lady checking in. It just gets better.

My sister and I are one year apart. Mom’s #1 rule was NO FIGHTING ALLOWED. I was older but my sister was much more serious. I was funny but also had anxiety attacks when I was Anna’s age.

When they get older and get into ballet, martial arts, Brownies, Play dates you’ll spend a LOT more time in the car.
I had a keychain that said “If a woman’s place is in the home, why am I always in the car.

I’d trade places with you anyday…..for awhile, but that is the beauty of grand children, you get to spoil them then give them back!

Your girls are lovely. (I was going to add that “Your kids are cute, too” but I figured, “Nah, who does that kind of stuff, anyway?” and then I tought, “Well, me, normally” and then I thought, “Yes, but one of these days your going to piss somebody off and they’re going to come to your house and shoot you with a paintball gun or something and THEN where will you be?” and I thought, “Well, maybe you’re right”. So I thought better of it.)

In about 10-11 years, I’ll have a nice safe, padded room for you at my house. Your daughters are beautiful and you have so much fun ahead of you. Really!
